2021: Reinvention and success. SevenMila’s five major events

The Parc del Forum breathed adrenaline and culture during the weekend of September 25 and 26 at the 11th edition of Extreme Barcelona.

This new edition made the public of Barcelona vibrate with a wide range of competitions of the highest level. We highlight the Scooter World Championship with three official competitions (Park Men, Park Women, Street Men) that came under the seal of the International World Skate Federation and the Spanish Skating Federation (the first stone to turn the scooter in Olympic sport will be in the Parc del Forum), the BMX Park competition with C1 category and flagged by the international cycling union (UCI BMX Freestyle), and male and female skateboarding competitions with some top-level representatives. In addition to the first megaramp in Barcelona since the X Games in 2013.

Great success of participation of the Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona in its 22nd edition. The best 10K of the city of Barcelona returned with force after a year of hiatus due to the pandemic of covid-19, and did so by becoming the Barcelona race with more participants of the year 2021.

More than 11,000 runners took part in a start divided into three boxes that were led, as is traditional, by the Barcelona Firefighters.

Solidarity was once again one of the pillars of this edition of the Vueling Cursa Bombers Barcelona. More than 12,000 euros have been raised through the 10 sporting challenges that Bombers Solidaris has launched through the Foundation ‘My grain of sand’.

Motorsport’s electric transition shines at Catalunya RX

Kevin Hansen took victory in the top category of the FIA World RX Catalunya ahead of world champions Timmy Hansen and Johan Kristoffersson.

This edition has been a great demonstration of how electric cars can offer a great show to fans and motorsport enthusiasts. They have been the protagonists with races with a lot of contact and that the public has enjoyed from start to finish. The young Canarian driver Pablo Suárez was one of the surprises and he narrowly missed the podium, crossing the finish line of the final in fourth position. He will surely be one of the drivers to follow throughout the year.

The citizens of Madrid join the Urban Sports fever, resounding success in the first edition of Madrid Urban Sports.

Madrid became the epicenter of sport and urban culture during the entire weekend of October 8-10, with attendance figures of more than 48,000 people.

During the three days competitions of up to 6 different sports were held: skateboarding, BMX and 3×3 basketball, all of them Olympic disciplines, as well as roller freestyle, scooter and breaking, the latter, Olympic debutant in Paris 2024.

In addition, all attendees were able to listen to live music through the imagin Flex Moments and Young Blood battles, added to the urban art that took place in Manzanares Town, has allowed the public to enter a world unknown to many.

The Madrid CrossFit ® Challenger Series closed its first edition with a total success. More than 4,000 people have vibrated with the event, which was held from 10 to 12 December at the Centro Deportivo Municipal Gallur in Madrid.

The best athletes of the European scene fought during two frenetic days for the more than 70,000 € in cash that were at stake.

The great icons of the world CrossFit Annie Thorisdottir and B.K Gudmundsson along with the Olympian Ray Zapata made live great experiences to the attendees who came to the municipal sports center Gallur.
