The leading urban sports events agency is proud to present a special edition of Extreme Barcelona to celebrate its 15th anniversary. This iconic event has established itself as a benchmark in the city of Barcelona and currently holds the title of being one of the longest running urban sports events in the world.
Extreme Barcelona will take place on 15, 16 and 17 September in its usual location, the iconic Parc del Fòrum. During these three days, the event will become a unique place to enjoy with family or friends, with a wider range of activities than ever before.
This edition will bring with it more sport and more spectacle than ever, with the participation of national and international athletes who will be looking for their pass to the Paris Olympics. The stage will host international BMX, Scootering and Skateboarding events, as well as the prestigious Spanish Breaking Championship, which will award places to the winners to compete in the 2023 Breaking World Championship. Climbing and 3×3 basketball will complete the sporting offer of this edition.
Throughout its 15-year history, Extreme Barcelona has constantly reinvented itself, and in this new edition, the public will find multiple sporting, artistic and cultural activities with free access. The Parc del Fòrum will be ready to take urban sports to another level, attracting both fans and experts in the field, and offering a full programme that will not fail to surprise throughout the weekend.
In addition to top-level competitions in all disciplines, Extreme Barcelona will offer a complete leisure experience with a market area, food trucks, live music, culture and various workshops for all tastes. The Parc del Fòrum’s colonnaded esplanade will be transformed into a small urban sports theme park with three open parks, a surfing and skateboarding area, pump tracks and mini-ramps.
