To mark the Grand Départ of the 2026 Tour de France in Barcelona, SevenMila has collaborated with the Institut Barcelona Esports (IBE), through the Technical Secretariat for Bicycle Promotion Activities, in organizing and coordinating various activities to encourage bicycle use and bring cycling closer to the public.
Key actions included organizing the 100-Day Event, the Bike Festival (Fiesta de la Bici), coordinating cycling clubs’ participation in the official Tour de France team presentation, children’s activities at the Fan Park, and sports proposals held in the Tres Chimeneas Gardens. Additionally, work was done alongside Barcelona’s cycling clubs to boost their participation and give visibility to their important role in the city’s sports scene.
SevenMila also collaborated with Barcelona City Council and Shimano in organizing the cycling routes promoted by the brand, coordinating the guide service that accompanied participants on various routes around the city.
During the event, our team was present at the Arc de Triomf Fan Park, hosting a children’s area with fun and creative activities so the youngest fans could experience the Tour de France atmosphere in an engaging way.
This collaboration reinforces SevenMila’s expertise in organizing and coordinating large-scale sporting events, helping the 2026 Tour de France Grand Départ reach beyond the competition with activities open to all citizens.
From SevenMila, we would like to express our gratitude for the trust placed in us by the Institut Barcelona Esports (IBE), Barcelona City Council, and Shimano, as well as the involvement of everyone who, in one way or another, helped make this project possible.
