Extreme Barcelona returns to the Parc del Fòrum from 16 to 18 September, where urban sports are getting ready to reign in Barcelona, which will host six urban sports disciplines, three of them Olympic: BMX Park and Street, Skate, Breaking, Scooter Park and Street.
The most famous faces of urban sports will meet again in Barcelona, which will continue to breathe its Olympic spirit 30 years later, as it will host some of the qualifying events for Paris 2024 in the Extreme.
More than sport, urban culture
This year’s Extreme Barcelona will offer a wide range of experiences for all those visitors who come to watch the competitions and who will enjoy all the urban culture: an open park to replicate the best tricks of the athletes, a market area and foodtrucks, live music and an exhibition of urban art.
This 12th edition of Extreme Barcelona features EsportCat Extreme, a project that will be developed in the months leading up to the Extreme. The circuit will have 5 stops Tarragona (July 2nd), Figueres (July 23rd), Alp (August 27th), Manresa (September 3rd) and Lleida (September 10th). The Top3 riders of each discipline in the circuit, skate, scooter and BMX will have a direct pass to participate in Extreme Barcelona 2022. The main objective of the circuit is to bring the event to a territorial level and discover new talent in urban sports.
One of the most awaited competitions on the urban scene premieres in its free access format, where all those who come to the Parc del Fòrum will be able to enjoy a unique experience of sport and urban culture.
