• The MUS returns to Madrid Río Matadero to live a weekend full of sports and urban culture.
  • The Olympic Breaking and BMX qualifiers are the main attractions of this edition.

Madrid Urban Sports consolidates its position in the capital, unveiling the dates of its 4th edition, 3rd in person after the event was born in times of pandemic. Madrid Río-Matadero will once again host sport and urban culture from September 16 to 18.

The event, better known as the MUS, will fill Madrid with adrenaline with the four main disciplines of urban sports: Skate, BMX, Breaking and Scooter.

The agency created the event to give urban athletes the opportunity to showcase their talent by creating high-level competitions, a city event that returns with its open-to-the-public format to showcase the most disruptive sports of Olympism.

The Olympic race of urban sports

The MUS will host all the Olympic urban disciplines and, in addition, will experience first-hand the road to Paris of two of them: Breaking and BMX.

The Braking For Gold Series will be held on the esplanade of Madrid Río-Matadero, the last chance to get the ticket to Paris, the first appearance of Breaking in the greatest sporting competition of all time.

For its part, BMX will gather the best athletes of the C1 circuit, promoted by the International Cycling Union, which will give some extra points to Paris for those who manage to get on the podium of the Central Park.

A factor to highlight in this fourth edition is the growing representation of women’s sports in all disciplines: BMX, Skate, Breaking, Scooter Street and Park.

This year Madrid Urban Sports returns stronger than ever with two great Olympic qualifiers and the Scooter World Championship, becoming a reference of urban sports worldwide that continues to grow.
