Extreme Barcelona celebrated its 15th anniversary in September 2023, the urban sports event that is already part of the city of Barcelona, has evolved over the years to become the event for excellence of urban sports in Barcelona.
Over the years we have seen how the event has been taking shape, forming champions who do not want to miss the event and have already formed its international seal. The road has not been easy but the passion of the team to always pull the event forward has made the event an indispensable date and marked on the calendar of all fans and new discoverers of these sports.
When Seven Mila made the 1st edition in 2008, urban sports were not very well regarded, there were practically no adequate facilities for their practice in the city, and riders who skated or rode their bikes in the streets were persecuted.
Now, more than 15 years later, in an Olympic year like 2024, we don’t want to miss the opportunity to present this great work to thank and show the team behind Extreme Barcelona, the evolution, how one of the most important and beloved events for everyone is created and lived from the inside.
Throughout these 15 years there have been many colleagues who have put all their desire, effort and dedication to create an event like this, and make the public enjoy the same or more each season. Through this documentary, we hope that all those who always accompany us and all those who are curious about these sports can discover part of the team that makes it possible.
