The race with the highest elevation gain in Barcelona will hold its second edition on November 1, 2023. Runners will again face a 20 km route and up to 550 meters of elevation gain that runs through the two most emblematic mountains of the city, with the castle of Montjuic as the starting point and the Collserola park (Tibidabo) as the finish line, a challenge for lovers of asphalt races that offers the opportunity to enjoy privileged views of Barcelona and the nature that surrounds it. This race is Km0, whose sustainable aspect is evident before, during and after the race, preserving the Collserola park, the lungs of the city of Barcelona, thus becoming the first sustainable race, donating 1€ of the registrations to preserve the park and adding cleaning activities before and after the race.

A successful starting point

After a first edition in 2022, the Montjuic-Tibidabo wants to consolidate itself as a unique and different race, merging asphalt and dirt and representing a real test to overcome for all runners. More than 400 people joined the challenge of the 0 impact race, leaving a record to beat of 1:08:34 minutes by Gerard De Antonio and 1:20:31 minutes by Maria Fuentes.
