Hot Wheels, official World RX of Catalunya partner

Hot Wheels was one of the most relevant partners of the FIA World RX of Catalunya 2019, which was hold at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 27th & 28th April.

The brand was involved in a specific activation, the Hot Wheels RX Stars Race, as well as some different activities during the event in various areas.

Hot Wheels and the FIA World RX of Catalunya achieved an agreement to be a sponsor of the 5th edition of this remarkable motorsport event. Hot Wheels, a car passioned brand, found in the CatalunyaRX a great place to get and win public awareness, amplify their brand through digital content creators (youtubers / influencers) and interaction with young public at the event and in a digital way.

One of the aims of Hot Wheels is to encourage to achieve challenges. This was the idea of the Hot Wheels RX Stars Race. Up to 50 people registered to get and win an official entry for the Hot Wheels RX Stars Race, a kart cross race which took place during the FIA World RX of Catalunya at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

A part from this main and top activation, Hot Wheels also created some other content. At the event, together we produced a real Hot Wheels big blister pack where spectators could use to take a photo and share it on social media to win some amazing prizes such as a Hot Wheels official pack, F1 pelouse tickets and tickets for the Automobile Barcelona Fair. 

Furthermore, Hot Wheels had a stand at the Fan Zone area with an American classic car designed as a Hot Wheels car and a playing area with their cars in scale collection and acknowledged orange tracks. One of the classics cars was also the official “Service” car of the event.
