-
New commitment to urban culture with more music, art and lifestyle.
The Extreme Barcelona faces this 2021 with a new approach: to be a more global event. That is why it is part of the calendar of the activities of the Festes de la Mercè, the local holiday Festivity during the weekend of September 25 and 26.
After an edition without public in the Parc del Forum last November due to the restrictions caused by Covid-19, Extreme Barcelona wants to recover its essence, its street DNA, offering a wider range of proposals for all its followers.
Post olympic competitions
The event, which arrives to its 11th edition in 2021, will once again occupy the Parc del Forum with two outstanding sports venues, Central Park and Street Park, where the international and open competitions of skate, BMX, scooter and roller freestyle will be held. . This year Olympians could be seen for the first time and it is because only two months before, the best skateboarders and BMX riders will have participated in the Tokyo Olympics.
The purest lifestyle
The Extreme Barcelona will once again offer a space to enjoy with friends or family, a music area, food trucks and an atmosphere to take advantage of the last days of summer vibes. We will have a market with stores of the main brands in the sector as well as clothing and accessories or urban art proposals. Little by little we will reveal all the proposals.
And, as Extreme has always done, there will also be open parks and areas for young riders. A space that allows the little ones to start practicing urban sports in a safe environment, and where teens can try to imitate the tricks of the riders who participate in the international competitions.
Tickets available soon
The organization of the event is following the day-to-day situation of the pandemic, it is in contact with the Procicat to evaluate how the Extreme Barcelona 2021 can be carried out. The goal is to be able to have sits available for the public by offering maximum security to all the assistants.
